July 2011 -- Our First Bear

After four years we finally saw our first bear at Trilogy. Actually we were on the northern perimeter of Trilogy at the Pipeline. We have taken this walk many, many times. Presently, we saw a rather large black bear about 100 yards away. There were cars crossing 232nd Ave so the bear decided to walk slowly in our direction. We proceeded to walk discreetly in the other direction. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos. And to think I almost took my big camera with me!
