  1. Ah the honorable sacrosanct dressing code. My fondest memories are of ways we attempted to sabotage it all the while looking chaste and innocent. Much like the cheating code we created for Fr. Keefe’s religion (!) class. But that is for another time. I remember that before uniforms were introduced, jumpers for girls were very much frowned on. It was even stated that they mustn’t focus on the bust. (What bust??) We of course all rolled the waistebands of our skirts and learned how to quickly unroll for the kneeling moment of truth.
